Meet the Inventor of EllieGrid

In 2015, Abe Matamoros walked into his grandfather’s apartment and found him very ill. Abe quickly found out that his grandfather had not been taking his medications correctly. His grandfather said that it took him so long to organize all of his medications into his weekly organizer, that he sometimes did not do it. As a result, he often missed his pills. At around the same time, Abe’s friend Regina Vatterott had a similar health scare due to medication non-compliance. Abe tried looking for products that could help his grandfather and friend, but could not find anything. Abe was determined to find a solution.

Finding A Solution

One year and countless prototypes later, Abe invented EllieGrid. Abe filed a patent for EllieGrid and soon after founded EllieGrid Inc. in order to commercialize his invention. Abe asked his friends Regina Vatterott and Hieu Nguyen to partner with him and help him scale the company.

EllieGrid Today

EllieGrid has won dozens of awards all over the world and is used by people in over 37 different countries. EllieGrid has grown from one man and one idea to a global technology company.
