When people see our logo, one of the first things they ask is “Why elephants?” to which we reply, “Why not?”

Elephants are beloved creatures with many talents. Our team wanted to have an elephant as our logo in order to reflect their qualities in our brand. Here are six of our favorite things about elephants:

1. Exceptional Memories
One of our most obvious reason for loving elephants is that they are notorious for having exceptional memories. Being a medication reminder solution, memory is very important to us.There is even a well-known case of two elephants, named Jenny and Shirley, who were reunited at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee in 1999 after 23 years of being apart. The two still remembered each other years later. The full story can be found here.

2. They Cuddle, no joke.
3. And Paint

5. Female Empowerment
Elephants live in matriarchal family groups that are led by the oldest and largest female of the herd. In fact, elephant families revolve around the females. The matriarch is the decision maker and the glue that keeps the herd together.
6. Loving & Social
Research has also shown that elephants can communicate over vast distances by producing a sub-sonic rumble that travels across the ground. The messages are then picked up through other elephant’s feet or trunk. This form of communication is how they find friends and potential mates.
For centuries, elephants have been hunted for their ivory tusks. Although poaching has declined, it is still a threat to elephant populations. The species is now endangered. Consider adopting an elephant through theWorld Wildlife Organization.
