Happy Valentine’s Day, February is off to a great start for the EllieGrid team. We are on schedule for our milestones. We have a lot of exciting news to share below. Please keep in mind that this information is confidential. As part of our mission towards healthier and happier lives, we would like to remind you that it is also American Heart Month. Visit EllieGrid.com for information on heart health and medication adherence. All our best, The EllieGrid Team
We are now located in the Texas Medical Center for Innovation (TMCx). Our team was offered six months of free space and access to their resources. We are very grateful and believe this opportunity of being in the largest medical center in the world will benefit EllieGrid’s progress!
Happy belated Chinese New Year! Our manufacturer in China has received the steel from Germany and has started milling the molds.
Please check out our site and let us know what you think by commenting on the bottom of our home page. All orders will still be taken through Indiegogo InDemand until further notice.
Software and Mobile App
Say hello to EllieGrid’s first hire, Ben Young! Ben is a great software engineer who is currently in charge of building our mobile app and also has a background in medicine (which has come in handy).
Thiel Fellowship Summit
Co-founder, Regina Vatterott, has been invited to the Thiel Fellowship Summit in March along with 59 other founders, technologists, designers, and thinkers for a chance to be a 2017 Thiel Fellow. In short, the Thiel fellowship pays 20-30 young innovators $100k in order to drop out of school and work on their projects. Wish her luck with interviews! Fun Fact: With an acceptance rate below 1%, the fellowship is considered more competitive than the nation's top universities (no pressure).
